Another GaGa Epic

It's no Bad Romance (or Telephone) but Alejandro is obviously worth a watch. They could definitely shave a minute or two off though. It's directed by fashion photog' Steven Klein who has worked with Madonna a lot.

Gaga's Telephone

This is fucking excellent if you ignore the blatant product placement. Love the LaChappelle-like colours and Russ Meyer references. The same director Jonas Akerlund made a great film called Spun which is worth watching if you haven't already. I wrote something more thorough about the vid at the day job HERE

GaGa GaGaGa

This track was crying out for a remix of this quality. It could have come straight off Hercules and Love Affair's brilliant debut album. Which you should buy here

New Lady G video

In early Jan I had a phone interview with Lady GaGa. She referenced Andy Warhol and made all sorts of outlandish claims. Watching this eleven months later I'm ashamed I ever doubted she would be the biggest popstar in the world.

Camp Pop

I watched Disney teen flick Camp Rock Earlier. Yeah I know, but it's Easter Sunday so any shit movies are fair game!

I can really see why the soundtracks to this and the High School Musical films shift so many copies. The songs are spot on rip offs of the work of Max Martin, Cathy Dennis, Dr Luke and other leading pop writer-producers. Even the urban styled numbers are Timbaland-lite.

Who knew the films could give something back though? Cos the above section of Camp Rock must surely have been Interscope's inspiration for the Lady GaGa project. Sing along...
