Homeward Bound

Love these boys. This was written by Paul Simon while he was stuck overnight at Widnes train station in Cheshire- when he lived in the UK in the mid 60s. Crazy to watch these two hip cats in 1967. Yes NINETEEN SIXTY SEVEN.

Massively influenced by the British folk scene the duo in turn inspired so many bands and solo artists. Interesting to compare and contrast with this appearance on that sex-pest Letterman's show 40 years later.

The Bridge Over Troubled Water and Graduate soundtracks are great. But I mostly listen to this compilation. Certainly a good way to spend a fiver.
